The team, formerly known as Jamie Hunter Racing, has been highly successful on the domestic motorsport scene especially with driver and owner Steven Hunter who is a three-time championship winner in the MGF Cup.

Hunter will compete in the Clio Winter Cup alongside 2001 Formula Palmer Audi Champion Steve Warburton before the outfit expands to three cars for the main 2004 ELF Renault Clio Hill House Hammond Cup with MGZR Championship runner-up Phil Grinsell joining Team Gatecrasher.

The outfit recently held a VIP launch party ahead of its entry into the series at the Gatecrasher One venue in Sheffield where a host of celebrities attended to lend their support while glamour model Jordan posed with the team for photographers. An official unveiling of its Clio Cup cars will take place in similar fashion at a Gatecrasher event at the Birmingham NEC on Friday, November 24th.

Commenting on the outfit's graduation to the Clio Cup, Steven Hunter said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me and the team.
